About the Book

Dáinn the Devourer has spent two centuries bound to a dark witch, reluctantly carrying out her commands and devouring corrupt souls. When he is sent to Burr Island to destroy a rival witch, Jasper Prescott, the mission takes an unexpected turn when Birdie Rhodes intervenes.

Birdie is an aspiring historian and occasional shopgirl who arrives on Burr Island unaware that magic is real. Her encounter with Dáinn and Jasper draws her into a supernatural conflict involving witches, wraiths, dangerous magic, and desires that none of them expected.

As the three become increasingly entangled, they must confront magical forces that threaten the island and their own complicated relationships. The story combines paranormal fantasy with dark, spicy romance and a why-choose/MMF relationship.
