About the Collection

Fragrant Harbour begins in 1935 when young Englishman Tom Stewart travels to Hong Kong in search of adventure and opportunity. His life becomes intertwined with those of several other characters as the city experiences the Japanese occupation, post-war transformation, economic growth, and eventual handover to China.
