Three Assassins follows Suzuki, an ordinary man whose wife is murdered. Seeking revenge, he enters the criminal underworld and becomes entangled with a group of highly unusual assassins, including the mysterious Whale, the deadly Cicada and the elusive Pusher.

Bullet Train takes place aboard a high-speed train travelling from Tokyo to Morioka, where several assassins find themselves pursuing separate missions.
